This is a vintage shimmering pale yellow crepe skirt and jacket suit from Salvatore Ferragamo. The fabric is very unique, because it has a clear thin tinsel-like-thread woven through the wool/silk crepe fabric. The color is a stunning pastel pale yellow that is excellent for Spring and Summer. Suits are so versatile because you can wear the pieces as separates with other things in your closet!
The jacket is a tailored long-line blazer has a notched, pointed collar, and two side functional deep pockets. There pearlescent monogrammed buttons in the front for closure and on the cuffs of the sleeves. The shoulders are nicely structured with shoulder pads.
The skirt is a 4-panel flat front pencil skirt with darts along the waistline with a pearlescent button and metal zipper with flat hook and eye for closure. The skirt has a kick pleat slit and is fully lined.
Made in Italy of 93% Wool, 5% Nylon and 2% Silk with 100% Rayon lining in the skirt.
Labeled size IT 46, but we estimate this would best fit a modern day US size 10. CONDITION: In excellent condition. Minor pilling on the back right of the jacket near the hips.
